I need palliative care
PCSE supports people with a life-limiting illness to live well by providing holistic palliative care that addresses a person’s physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs
I am caring for someone
If you are caring for someone with a life-limiting illness, we can support you.
I am a health professional
We can provide specialist paliative care to your patients with a life-limiting illness and can offer you advice, support and consultancy.

Palliative Care South East is a not-for-profit organisation offering home-based palliative care services. We enable people to live their best life, whilst navigating the challenge of a life-limiting or terminal illness for which there is no cure, by providing a full suite of programs to support them, their carers and families.

“On behalf of my family and myself, we would like to sincerely thank you for your ongoing kindness, care and compassion you showed and gave to my husband during his illness.

You are an amazing, dedicated group of people, who listened, showed empathy and cared, during Tony’s declining health. Tony always looked forward to your visits and on most visits gain strength and hope. Your kindness will never be forgotten.”

Deb Fenton, 2022

“My father received the most wonderful, person-centred care we could have wished for especially given the COVID situation.

As a nurse myself, I felt incredibly blessed to have such professional staff caring for my parents. My Mum as a carer was supported in every way possible throughout Dad’s 18 month long cancer journey.”

Amy Cowan, 2022

Welcome to our new home!

Our new palliative care Community Wellbeing Hub was officially opened by Victoria’s Health Minister the Hon. Mary-Anne Thomas on 10th May. Located at 80 Victor Crescent in Narre Warren, it is central to our catchment which covers the Cities of Greater Dandenong and Casey, the Shire of Cardinia and parts of Kingston.

The purpose-built Hub has an education facility enabling us to deliver training for palliative care workers, community information seminars and events and memorial services. We also have onsite counselling and clinical care rooms and spaces for music and art therapy.

Co-founders Dr Ruth Redpath and Beris Bird joined our CEO Kelly Rogerson and special guests to celebrate the occasion, acknowledge our history and to thank our staff, volunteers and supporters.

All of this was made possible thanks to the generous support of many donors and fantastic fundraising support from our community. We would like to acknowledge the Victorian Government for their support, the many bereaved family and friends of past clients who made donations in their memory, our volunteers who have contributed to amazing fundraising efforts, as well as many other individuals and businesses in the community who have made donations to support us in realising this vision. Thank you!
